I Smell a Revolution ...

... or maybe that's just the BWSRN's edgy new Old Spice "Swagger" Body Spray - guaranteed to 'enhance awesomeness'. If that doesn't land him the cover of GQ and send the ladies swooning, I'm not sure what will!? *momentarily loses focus and almost - ALMOST succumbs to the rugged manly man scent wafting from the post below*

All right, I've pulled myself together enough to do what I came to do ... re-butt. *pause for the BWSRN's snicker* Oh sure, those antiquated rules *points* down there may have appealed to men of the dark ages, but be assured women everywhere, today's hunk wants to please his lady (a point proven by Old Spice's sky-rocketting sales of late) and he can find all the helpful tips he needs in this must read book ...

My, my ... how the times are a changin'! *satisfied nod*

For the most part, I'm ok with gender roles. It makes it easy to know what's expected of you. What ever happened to the art of being needed. I like being able to perform certain previously-thought of male-specific duties, like chopping wood or vehicle maintenance. I know women can open their own doors, but what's wrong with letting a man open them when the opportunity presents itself. I like doing that and lucky for me I guess, I've yet to be denounced for it. I can cook my own meal, but why wouldn't I appreciate having a woman make a meal and inviting me to share it with her. Call me crazy but if that same woman offered to change the oil in my car or rotate my tires ... sorry, that just wouldn't sit right.

Wendy, you say ... "Sexy is a man who knows how to do for himself and not afraid to do it." So I'm extrapolating from that and deducing you're ok with being redundant for everything except sex? Hmm, interesting. ;-)
